Complete honey-coloured translucent flint “side-end” scraper of possible Neolithic date (4500 BC - 2000 BC). Length 18mm, width 26mm and a maximum thickness of 5mm. Weight 2.69g.
The ventral surface has a relatively large bulb of percussion with associated radiating ripples and the dorsal surface has two major flake scars. Viewing the ventral surface with the point of percussion at the bottom, the edge at the distal end and also the edge at the left side have been retouched to form working surfaces.
