A Roman rim sherd from a ceramic grey ware vessel (AD 43-410).
The vessel has an inverted rim and a shoulder with a carination. Minute flecks of mica can be seen in the fabric. This rim is probably part of a jar. When complete, the outer diameter of the rim would have been about 12.0cm.
Height: 18.47mm; width: 49.92mm; thickness: 5.56mm. Weight: 7.01g.
