Cast copper alloy buckle from the late 17th century. The object is a double-looped, D-shaped buckle with a curved frame. The pin bar and a pin are now missing, but were separate components, shown by the drilled holes for the pin bar. Decoration consists of moulded squares on either side of the pin bar with a raised circular shape between the squares. At the pin rests, which are thickened in comparison to the rest of the frame, are three engraved lines - one central line and two radiating from the base of the middle one.

A fragment of a copper alloy medieval single looped buckle frame. The fragment consists of the pin rest edge and 2 very short lengths of the loop frame. Much of the loop and the pin bar and pin are missing. The pin rest has a grooved copper sheet roller bar (now corroded solid), with lobed knops on the frame at either end of the roller bar.

A small fragment of a cast copper alloy post medieval buckle frame. The buckle originally had 2 loops with a drilled frame to take a separate pin and bar. The frame was a slightly rounded rectangular shape, with moulded transverse grooves on the top of the frame at the pin bar and thickened at the pin rests. Now only a part of one loop remains. There is iron corrosion on the frame where the pin bar joined, suggesting it was iron.

A broken cast copper alloy medieval buckle. The buckle was single looped, probably with a trapezoidal frame, but as most of the frame is missing it is hard to be sure. Just the pin bar and the start of the 2 edges survives, along with the pin, which is formed from copper alloy wire. There was also a plate, which was probably also trapezoidal. However the end is damaged and it is not clear how much is missing.
