A cast copper alloy Roman bow-and-fantail brooch. The foot is a flaring triangle, with a slightly curved base. The front face of the foot is decorated with 3 circualr cells, may originally have held enamel. The rear face of the foot ahs the remains of the catchplate. The bow is relatively short, taken up mainly by a hemispherical boss. Above the boss the bow widens out to the head and is decorated with a raised spine. The head is plain (though worn so may originally have had some decoration). Behind the head is corroded but would have held a pin and hinge mechanism, now missing.

A cast copper alloy Roman headstud brooch. The foot is an inward sloping disc. Behind is the catchplate. The bow has a flat section. The front of the bow has a long moulded decorative panel with a design of raised diamonds along it. Originally the cells around the raised diamonds would have been filled with coloured enamel, nut now only small fragments remain and the colour cannot be distinguished. A corroded and incomplete cast copper alloy Roman trumpet brooch. The foot and catchplate are missing. The bow has a circular section, widening slightly for a very styilised acanthus moulding. The head flares out in the trumpet shape. Behind is a loop to hold the pin and spring mechanism, now missing. There is a very small lug on top, the remains of a suspension loop.
