It appears to be formed of a small re-worked flake with slight rippling on its ventral surface. Medieval silver buckle, 20mm long, 15mm wide and 4 mm thick with a weight of 3.78g. The buckle is rectangular in form and cross section and consists of an oval frame which is made up of two straight sides and two curved ones, which have a trapezoidal cross section. The curves terminate at four sub spherical knops which are decorated with circular and semi-circular punch marks. The terminals of the curved parts form a slightly raised collar under each knop. Early Medieval copper alloy brooch fragment, 34mm long 12mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 5.72g. The object is rectangular in form and cross section and forms the upper part of the bow of a cruciform or small long brooch and consists of one half which is plain and has a bowed form with a rounded upper surface. The second half is flat and rectangular with slight traces of probable lappets to each side. The reverse of this houses a centrally placed, sub rectangular catch plate.

Undated copper alloy casting waste? One small casting droplet and a sub rectangular piece of worn metal. Left to right in photo L W T Wgt 17 15 6 2.42 30 28 6 32.43 These were found together and not far away form other signs of metal working recorded as LEIC-99FD63 which suggest signs of metal processing.

Early Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 23 mm in diameter, 6 mm thick and weighing 8.74g. The object is roughly circular in form and a shallow D shape in cross section. It has a central circular hole 4 mm in diameter. The form of the object suggests it could be a poorly made spindle whorl which would match Walton Rogers form A1, but the hole is quite small so perhaps a flat wight is a more probable identification?
