Two silver cufflinks, originally joined by a thin silver clip. This clip is missing. 1) 1.1g 14.01mm x 13.8mm x 5.2mm 2) 1.1g 14.02mm x 14.1mm x 5.1mm Both have octagonal fronts with turned-over sides and are stamped or etched with a flower-head at the centre; there is a thin attachment loop on the back. A common 18th Century type which makes this cufflink hard to date pre 1707. As such, due to its age, this object does not qualify as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
