A cast copper alloy bell. The bell has been cast as one piece and it is conical shaped. The top of the bell has been decorated with two collars and there is an attachment loop at the apex of the bell. There is an incised line around the middle of the bell and a hole in the side. The base of the bell is badly damaged. This bell is post-medieval in date. The metal is a dark greenish-brown colour.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy bell. The bell has a flared rim which runs around the base of the bell. It is decorated just above the rim with an incised line. The metal survives in a poor condition. It is pitted and is a mid brownish-green colour. Such bells date to the 18th - 19th century.

An incomplete and damaged, large cast copper alloy crotal bell. The surviving fragment comprises the lower hemisphere of a spherical bell. The capital letter W has been stamped next to the sound slot, the W is inside a double semi-circle, with a ring and dot to one side, (the other side is missing due to the break). The W represents the markers mark, unfortunately as the other half of the bell is missing the rest of the markers mark has been lost, meaning that the foundry cannot be identified. A cast copper alloy sewing ring. The object is similar to a thimble, without the apex, but this example has a very thin width. The indentations are circular and have been arranged in a spiral. It is worn and the metal is a mid reddish-brown colour. Parallels can be seen in Egan (2005), p132, fig: 126 ref 648-52.

Possibly a cast copper alloy spur fragment. The fragment consists of part of the rowel box, it is short and oval in section. The object has a short section of copper alloy, which is straight, it then bend and splits into a fork. This split may have housed the spur rowel. The sides of the obejct are decorated with random incised 'finger-nail' marks. The surface of the object is worn, and has a reddish-brown patina. This spur dates to the post-medieval period.

A cast copper alloy rectangular shoe buckle, with a drilled frame for separate spindle. The spindle and two tongues both survive, but the chape is missing. There is no pin recess on the frame. The buckle is a dark greenish-brown colour and the surface is heavily pitted. These buckles date from circa 1720 - 1800. Parallels for this type of buckle can be seen in Whitehead, 2003, p111.

A complete cast copper alloy crotal bell. The bell is divided into two hemispheres by a prominent ridge which runs around the centre of the bell. The upper hemisphere is undecorated and houses two large sound holes. A loop extends up from the top of the upper hemisphere. The loop is square and pierced. The lower hemisphere houses the large sound slot. The remains of the iron pea survive inside the bell. The lower hemisphere appears to be undecorated, but very faint and worn lines can be seen which could represent the sun burst design. The metal survives in a very good, smooth conditio…

A cast copper alloy double looped buckle shoe or knee buckle with drilled frames for a separate spindle. The frame is decoratively moulded, with engraved transverse lines, either side of the strap bar. The chape, pin and tongue are missing. There is some iron staining evident on the spindle, indicating that an iron pin used to sit there. The frame buckle is complete. The metal is a dark greyish-green colour. These buckles date from circa 1660-1720. Parallels for this type of buckle can be seen in Whitehead, 2003, p99.
