Late Iron Age or Romano-British strap union, Taylor and Brailsford type 1. This object is constructed of a figure of eight flanked on either side by a vertical bar, attached at each end by a moulded oval collar. The figure of eight is semicircular in section having a flat rear side with a domed front, and the vertical bars are circular in section. The overall patina of the object is dark greyish-green. A cast copper alloy gilded strap fitting. The object has been cast as one piece and is triangular in shape. Two rivet holes survive on the object and one still contains the copper alloy rivet. On the shorter straight end there are two projecting attachment loops. These elements perhaps once formed a loop which allowed the fitting to be attached to a strap. Part of a cast copper alloy strap fitting or similar object. All that survives is the loop, which is formed from a bent strip of copper alloy, with a ridge running down the centre. The terminals of the loop are joined together by a now corroded iron fitting. The object surface is pitted with a mid greyish-green patina. It is probably post-medieval in date.

A cast copper alloy S-shaped belt clasp. The clasp is 36.9mm long and with rounded edges. One of the terminals has a zoomorphic head, which may represent a swan and other looks like a snakes tail. The fitting is decorated on both sides with feathers or scales. The fitting is likely to be 17th century. A parallel can be found in Egan (2005), p47, 172.

A cast copper alloy S-shaped belt clasp. The clasp is 37.9mm long and with rounded edges. Both terminals have a zoomorphic head, which may represent a swan. The fitting is decorated, in the centre on both sides with a double line, with three feathers on either side of the lines (six in total). The internal bends of the swan heads, show clear signs of having been worn by a ring. The fitting is likely to be 17th - 18th century. A parallel can be found in Egan (2005), p47, 172.

An oval shape have been crudely cut into this and the outer edge of the loop has worn through. Extending down from this loop at a right angle is a secondary smaller loop. Both loops show signs of having been file finished. Extending out from the main loop (at a right angle to the small loop) is the mount part of the object, formed from an oval, hollow back plate. A cast copper alloy strap fitting, formed from a ring, with an attachment plate still surviving. The plate is formed from a bent plate of copper alloy, riveted together with two rivets. The folded part of the plate which goes around the ring is narrower that the rest of the plate. The object is corroded and is a mid reddish-brown colour. It is probably medieval to post-medieval in date.

A cast copper alloy sword belt strap fitting. The fitting consists of a rectangular open frame, from which a circular loop has been cast integrally and hangs down (to one side) under the main frame. One of the shorter sides of the frame (above the loop) is narrower and off set. The opposite short side of the frame, has a copper-alloy plate extending out from it. The plate has broken and the break is very worn. Diagonal grooves have been cut into the raised short sides. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is pitted. Sword belt fittings of this type date to the 16th - 17th century.

An incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting or possible dress-hook. The object consists of an oval plate with openwork, moulded decoration. There is an oval border, which has a series of notches cut into it. A cast copper alloy strap fitting or similar object, a search through the normal literature could not find a parallel. The object is formed of a plate of copper alloy, sub-rectangular in shape. Two notches have been cut into the plate, forming three extensions. The front of the plate has been decorated with an incised grid design, filled with a light brown paste. The reverse is undecorated but a small stump extends out from the reverse. Possibly Roman or early-medieval in date.

A medieval copper-alloy strap loop. The artefact comprises a trapezoidal frame with two opposing, inward, projections towards the narrower end. The points of these projections have been worn flat. Strap loops date from the 12th to 14th centuries and served to secure the ends of loose clothing straps.
