TREASURE CASE : 2007 T376 pt 1 Dirham fragment On the basis of the evidence the Dirham fragment does not appear to have come from the same deposit as the finger-ring fragments (2007 T376 pt 2) and as such falls outside the provision of the Treasure Act of 1996. Curator, Insular Early Medieval Collections Department of Prehistory and Europe The British Museum XRF analysis of the surface of the silver dirham fragment indicates a silver content of close to 99%.
