A cast copper alloy ring. The ring has a circular section. It is worn, with a badly damaged edges with a dark brownish-red patina. Due to a lack of excavated examples it is not possible to date this object. Copper alloy rings like this one have been used through-out history for everything from harness fittings to clothes fittings.

An incomplete cast copper alloy 1st century AD, Dolphin type brooch. The brooch would have had a spring mechanism, held in place by an external chord but this is now missing. The pin is also missing. The head proper of the brooch comprises the short wings, which the spring would have sat behind. Each wing has been decorated with a vertical groove. The short undecorated bow then extends downwards from the head and tapers to the foot. The bow terminates with the foot which is decorated with three incised horizontal lines.
