A fragment of a lead cloth seal, dating from the 16th - 17th Century.
Only about 50% of the seal survives. The traders' mark is still partially visible on the front surface. It takes the form of a letter G, with a scroll below it and up the middle of the seal. Presumably a second letter would have been visible on the right, but this has broken off. The reverse seal features another letter which is not that clear, possibly an I or L.
Similar seals can be seen in Egan, p181.

A damaged, Miniature Pear-shaped lead alloy jug.
13th to 15th century.
Description: a cast lead alloy miniature jug, most likely having a long neck and probably a flared rim with a pouring lip which are now broken off and missing, Also the handle is broken off and only a trace of it on the main body of the jug remains. There is a flat base and a well defined casting seam showing at the side beneath the remains of the handle. The integral cast decoration to the body of the jug seems to represent basket work.
