An incomplete cast copper alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date. The head, bow, acanthus moulding, catchplate and foot all survive, but the pin mechanism and pin no longer remain. From the reverse of the head the loop which would have held the pin mechanism can be seen. The head is wide and trumpet shaped and is decorated with an incised ring around the edge. From the head the upper bow extends terminating with three very worn collars. Below the collar is a crude acanthus decoration followed by a second set of triple collars. A cast copper alloy knop, possibly from a brooch. Due to the fact the knop is the only surviving piece, it is not possible to date it. The knop has a circular, flat terminal, which is joined to a spherical central piece. The outer surface of the sphere is coated in corroded iron, suggesting that it was joined to a larger item at this junction. The metal is slightly pitted and is a mid greyish-green colour.

A cast copper alloy horse head buckle, dating to the late Roman period, 4th - 5th Century. Only the upper part of the buckle frame survives due to a break. The upper part of the frame is formed from a rounded curve (following the D-shape of a complete frame), the breaks have occurred at the point where the frame curves into the sides. Just above each break is the stylised horse head. Each one facing outwards, neither are decorated. There is a trefoil crest centred between the two heads. A cast copper alloy plate fragment probably from a strap fitting or buckle plate. The plate has broken widthways. The plate is an elongated triangle shape, missing its point, due to the break. The wider terminal of the plate contains two rivet holes and the front surface of the plate has been decorated with an incised linear border infilled with a floral design. A cast copper alloy plate probably from a mount or buckle plate. The plate is lozenge shaped, but appears to have broken off of a much larger piece. There are no visible signs of attachment. The front surface is decorated with incised decoration. There is a crude incised line forming a border around the edge of the plate and there are three rows of rocker-arm zig-zags, in paralllel rows along the longest axis of the plate. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour. The reverse is coated in some corroded material.
