A cast copper alloy strap fitting or mount, probably Late Iron Age to Roman in date.
The object is formed from an oval domed, with a flat reverse. The front surface has a raised central ridge and either side has been divided into six further cells, each cell has been infilled with enamel which alternates in colour between white and red.
On the reverse is a circular loop, which is set into the otherwise flat surface.
The metal is corroded and much of the original surface has been lost.
