An incomplete cast copper alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date. The head, bow, acanthus moulding, catchplate and foot all survive, but the pin mechanism and pin no longer remain. From the reverse of the head the loop which would have held the pin mechanism can be seen. The head is wide and trumpet shaped and is decorated with an incised ring around the edge. From the head the upper bow extends terminating with three very worn collars. Below the collar is a crude acanthus decoration followed by a second set of triple collars. A cast copper alloy knop, possibly from a brooch. Due to the fact the knop is the only surviving piece, it is not possible to date it. The knop has a circular, flat terminal, which is joined to a spherical central piece. The outer surface of the sphere is coated in corroded iron, suggesting that it was joined to a larger item at this junction. The metal is slightly pitted and is a mid greyish-green colour.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman penannular brooch. The brooch frame is complete and survives intact, but it has been bent out of shape. Both terminals survive, both culminates in circular knops, with a waisted area just before the knop. The pin has been lost and there is no sign of a pin recess. The brooch itself is a light mid brownish-green in colour and has a pitted surface. Similar examples can be seen in Hattatt, p.339.

Terminal from a copper-alloy penannular brooch of early-medieval date and Irish origin. A short length of the curved frame survives, with a D-shaped cross-section, and there is a thickening where this joins the terminal. The terminal is sub-triangular and decorated with a shallow cast relief design. The fragment is corroded so that it is hard to see the details of the design, but it appears to be formed around a sunken lozenge shape within an oval frame with D-shaped cells around the edge of this frame, two above and one below. A fragment of a cast copper-alloy early Anglo-Saxon (or Anglian) cruciform brooch. The fragment comprises part of the head plate and one knob, probably the top knob. The head plate has been badly damaged but retains its broadly rectangular shape. There is a raised central panel which is edged on either side with punchmarks, probably annulets. A fragment of a cruciform brooch of early-medieval date. The fragment is the projecting knop either from the wing or top of the head of a cruciform brooch. From what would be the front of the brooch the knop appears bulbous with a rounded terminal. Opposite this point the knop narrows before extending into a double collar. An incomplete cast copper-alloy brooch dating to the Roman period (1st - 2nd Century). The brooch is of an uncertain type and has some unusual features. The wings and pin mechanism are cylindrical and solid and extend into a trumpet like head. The head then tapers to a wide rounded collar. The bow is long and slender and tapers gradually to the foot. It is undecorated. The catchplate remains intact and is tall and narrow, complete with the catch. The pin is missing. The brooch is corroded and and surface is pitted. The metal is a mid reddish-brown colour.

A fragment of a copper alloy dragonesque brooch dating from 75 - 175 AD. The head and foot are missing, as is the pin. The body of the brooch is formed from an S shape, both terminals are well worn. The front surface is decorated with a raised central grid of four squares, with two curved triangles at either side. All that survives in the lower bow, fantail and the catchplate. The lower bow is wide and rounded and the break is very worn. A cast copper alloy pin, probably from a Roman brooch. The brooch has a tapering, circular shaft, which terminals in a bent point. The opposite terminal has a circular eye, with a flattened section. This would have fitted onto an axis bar of a brooch, allowing the pin to hinge. The pin survives in a good condition with a light greyish-green patina.
