An almost complete Roman Trumpet brooch dating to 75 - 175 AD. The brooch is almost complete but the foot, catchplate and pin are missing.  The tubular mechanism is formed from a double tube, with the gap in the centre. The axis bar is threaded through these and would have held the pin in place. The trumpet head is oval and undecorated. The head then extends into the upper bow. An incomplete cast copper alloy circular plate brooch, with decorated enamelled surfaces. This brooch is circular and flat. It has been decorated with a wheel like design with six spokes and a central pellet. The enamelled surfaces infill the cells. The brooch is heavily worn and corroded. The reverse is so badly corroded it is difficult to see any features. This type of brooch dates from the 2nd century AD. This brooch is similar to examples in Hattatt, 2000, p350.

A fragment of a medieval silver annular brooch. The plain hoop is decorated with two remaining flat plates in the shape of octofoils, which are soldered onto the front of the brooch. The plates are silver-gilt. The brooch dates to the 13th or 14th century.
