A fragment of a lead cloth seal, dating from the 16th - 17th Century. Only about 50% of the seal survives. The traders' mark is still partially visible on the front surface. It takes the form of a letter G, with a scroll below it and up the middle of the seal. Presumably a second letter would have been visible on the right, but this has broken off. The reverse seal features another letter which is not that clear, possibly an I or L. Similar seals can be seen in Egan, p181.

Identification supplied by Jim Halliday: A damaged, Miniature Pear-shaped lead alloy jug. 13th to 15th century. Description: a cast lead alloy miniature jug, most likely having a long neck and probably a flared rim with a pouring lip which are now broken off and missing, Also the handle is broken off and only a trace of it on the main body of the jug remains. There is a flat base and a well defined casting seam showing at the side beneath the remains of the handle. The integral cast decoration to the body of the jug seems to represent basket work. A cast lead bag seal, formed from a flat sheet of lead. The sheet is roughly square, but a corner is missing, due to damage. The front surface is decorated centrally with the letters TRM, which are all conjoined. They are surrounded by a ropework circle. An image of the reverse is not available, so it is not clear how this is decorated.

A cast lead bag seal, for woollen clothes manufactured in London, dating to circa 1564-73. One surface bears the shield for the Arms of England, with the letter L` on the left. The headband of a crown can be seen above the shield. The reverse features another shield decorated with a ridged cross (each arm comprising three strands). There is a sword in the top left quarter (the Arms of London). Geoff Egan added the identification of this seal.

A very fine example of a cast lead ampulla. Ampullae were an important kind of pilgrim souvenir in the medieval period. They were designed to contain a dose of thaumaturgic water, which would have been given to the pilgrims at the shrines and holy wells (Spencer, 1990 (part 2), p. 86). The fleur-de-lis' are arranged end to end, so one appears upside down. They are seen within a raised border. The edge of the weight is decorated with linear markings. The object is decorated on both sides with raised lines and dots though the surface is now so worn that any specific pattern is indiscernible.
