A small incomplete lead plaque, now broken. It has a straight edge at the top, but the other edges are curved so that it is U shaped. The front is decorated with incised decoration forming runes. There is a line across the front, about two-thirds of the way down, and then above that four vertically incised lines forming rectangular panels. The two to the left feature incised saltires, forming what look very like runes (compare NMS-BBC400). The third rectangular panel is empty, and then the fourth contains two sideways-on triangles looking like a b rune.

An unidentified strip of lead, measuring 71.4mm x 17.3 x 8.2 and weighing 78g.
The strip is rectangular in section and tapers slightly to one end. The two widest surfaces have been engraved with some text. The text is written in mirror image, so it therefore appears backwards.
One side reads SIGILLVM – which is Latin for ‘the seal of…’. This inscription could indicate that this object was somehow used to seal something.
The other side reads [---VNRANS]. The first few letters are unclear due to wear and possibly deliberate scratch on the lead.
The lead has gone powdery a…

The sprue has been broken, the break looks worn. It is also possible that this piece of lead is simply a waste piece of lead, from the casting process.
