A complete cast lead spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. The spindle whorl is biconical with a central perforation. The object is decorated on both sides with raised lines and dots though the surface is now so worn that any specific pattern is indiscernible.
The metal is a dark reddish-brown colour and is worn and pitted.
The spindle whorl is 28.1mm in diameter, 7.1mm thick and weighs 28.1g.
