A lithic thumb nail scraper of Neolithic date (circa 3500 - 2100 BC) designed to be held between your thumb and forefinger. It has been finely knapped. The object is oval in shape and sub-rectangular in section although the depth tapers from one end of the object to the other. The curved edge showing signs of extensive retouch and working. The retouch is shallow. The striking platform and bulb of percussion both survive and ripples of percussion can clearly be seen. The flint is a mid reddish-brown colour with some lighter flaws.

The dorsal surface has had multiple flakes removed from the surface. The flake tapers to a point at the terminal, the terminal proper has chipped off. The flint has a light greyish-white patina, 10% of the surface is coated in cortex.

Two Mesolithic to Neolithic flint blades and a Neolithic elongated thumb scraper. All three have had previous flakes removed from their surfaces and are at least twice as long as they are wide. The thumb scraper has been finely worked, and has a rounded terminal, it appears to have been bi-facially worked. These flints have been recorded from a photograph, so no measurements or weights were recorded. The FLO has not seen the flints. Only one surface has been photographed. They were found by a Forestry Commission worker.

A Neolithic axehead (or possibly an adze). The axe dates from between circa 3500 BC to 2100 BC. The implement has been extensively knapped and highly polished into a sub-oval shape. One terminal tapers to a slightly pointed end; the other (the butt) is rounded and wider. The butt end is asymmetrical, while the tapered terminal appears damaged. No natural cortex is visible on the surface of the axe. Both terminals and in fact the entire surface of the axe or adze has been finely knapped and polished. A lithic implement of Neolithic date, it appears to be the rough out of a leaf shaped arrowhead. The object is oval in shape and has a flat section. Both surfaces have been heavily worked with shallow flakes being removed from both surfaces. The striking platform, bulb of percussion and ripples of percussion have all been removed by later working. The flint is a light whitish-grey colour with some lighter flaws. There are no signs of cortex re-growth.

A small Neolithic lithic implement, formed into a thumb scraper. The flint is roughly oval in overall shape, but has a domed top and a flat base. The top has been left with 70% cortex. It has been formed from a light orangey-brown flint. The bulb of percussion and striking platform do not survive. The worked edge of the scraper has steep retouch.

There is a large flaw in the matrix in the flint, which would have rendered this flake as useless. The flint is a light whitish-grey colour with some lighter flaws.
