An Iron Age silver unit of eastern Gaul. Delestree & Tache 3195ff Philip de Jersey comments: "It's a fairly common type from eastern Gaul, probably from the territory of the Lingones or the Aedui, with the inscription 'Kaletedou' in Greek script on the reverse. The inscription soon becomes blundered and you end up with not much more than KA over the horse and a variety of symbols below. The coinage was produced over a long period, from the late second century BC through into the mid-first century BC, and I would guess that this one is later rather than earlier, so perhaps c. 75 BC

A silver late-medieval to early post-medieval finger ring, 14th - 16th Century in date. Treasure case: 2007 T471. Extract from treasure report: The bezel represents two clasped hands, incised lines have been drawn on to represent the fingers and incised lines on the shoulders probably represent cuffs. A fragment probably from a silver medieval to early post-medieval buckle, 13th - 16th Century in date. The fragment is formed from a rectangular plate, which has had two of its corners cut off on one side. On the other side, there are extensions off from the plate. One survives for only a short distance and is itself broken. The other extension at the other end of the plate has broken off level with the plate. A medieval silver-gilt iconographic finger-ring, with a double-faceted bezel and a decorated hoop. The ring is slightly distorted (measuring 23.6mm x 22.6mm). Each facet of the bezel is engraved with the image of a saint. The shoulders of the hoop are also faceted diagonally, and are engraves with sprigs of foliage. The back and sides of the hoop are also decorated with diagonal ridges which follow the pattern on the facets, giving the appearance of a twisted hoop. The ring is silver-gilt, and dates from the 15th Century or early 16th Century.

Description: A pair of silver cuff links, 17th Century in date, The cufflinks are circular in plan with a turned down edge, which flares slightly at the base. Each one is decorated with the same pressed design of a double heart, surmounted by a jeweled, single arched crown. This design is set on a stippled background, with a rope work border. A cast copper-alloy ansate brooch, with an arched back with an equally sized fan-shaped terminal on either end. The arched back of the brooch is decorated with three prominent ridges. Below the terminals there is a catchplate on one side and a double lug on the other. The remains of an iron pin can also been seen, but is heavily corroded. Ansate brooches are in origin a Frankish type, used in France from the 7th century onwards. They do not appear in England until the 8th century, and they appear to go out of use in the 10th century.

A cast copper alloy Roman miniature votive axe, 37.1mm long, 22.9mm wide and 8.7mm thick. The object comprises a three dimensional representation of a rectangular axe head. Post medieval cast copper alloy hook for hanging something such as a coat, or for winding a cord from a blind or a window. It has a circular attachment base with a raised collar from which extends the circular-sectioned shaft, terminating in a facetted head, (now bent). The artefact is quite worn so much of the detail is worn. See also BH-7A8FD3, BH-F6E4D2 and CORN-9D354 on this database for parallels. These hooks probably date from the late 18th to 20th centuries.

A cast copper alloy, gilded figurine of Jesus on the cross. The figurine is incomplete, with the arms largely missing. The reverse of the figurine is concave, but the front has been highly decorated in high relief. Jesus stands, with arms out-stretched, and his head tilted to rest on his right shoulder. He is naked from the waist up, but wears a long cloth knotted around his waist, which extends down to drape beyond his knees.
