A silver-gilt hair ornament, used as a hair slide. The object is formed from three conjoined pieces of metal. The back plate is the largest and is formed from an openwork decoratively shaped central feature, joined to two pointed ovals, there are small rivet holes in the point of the pointed oval. The back plate terminates on either end with a trefoil. The back plate has a silver surface, but some parts of it have worn through showing that the back frame is hollow and not solid. TREASURE CASE : 2010 T615
A complete silver seal matrix of 17th Century date. The seal matrix has a fluted trifoliate handle with a small knop projecting from the tip of the upper foliate. The upper foliate is tear-drop shaped while the two smaller side foliates are circular. From the handle a short, circular sectioned stem flares outwards to form the die. The die is oval in plan and is engraved with a fleur-de-lis design flanked by the initials WB.

An incomplete silver finger-ring. The bezel of the ring has a raised border, but this survives only where it narrows to the shoulders, since much of the edge, probably originally curved, has broken off. Enough of the bezel survives to suggest that its original shape was pointed-oval. The outer face of the bezel has a series of horizontal striations and the reverse is flat and undecorated; there may originally have been a separate setting in the bezel.
