Copper alloy, much of surface missing, hexagonally facetted conical handle with collared pierced terminal. Circular, 19.3mm. Owl sitting on a branch, represented by a vertical twig with horizontal leaves either side. *HAVLOVLHAVL (mimicking the cry of the owl). Four drills in the shape of a diamond form the reverse initial mark at roughly the 12 o'clock position.

An incomplete bronze socketed hammer, with rectangular faces. The hammer survives in two fragments. Small butt end fragment: 83g. Length: 35.6mm, Width: 24.9mm, Thickness: 19.9mm. Large socketed end fragment: 152g. Length: 61.01mm, Width of socket: 29.2mm, Thickness of socket: 26.3mm. Internal socket = 15.6mm x 15.9mm. 36mm = socket depth. A large pot leg fragment from a cast copper alloy vessel. The fragment consists of part of the foot and leg. The reverse of the object is flat. There is a large vertical raised ridge running down the centre of the leg. All the breaks are worn. The surface of the metal is pitted with a mid greyish-green patina. Pot legs date to AD 1350-1850.

A cast copper alloy pot leg from a copper alloy vessel. The fragment consists of the foot and part of the leg. The object is rectangular in section. The foot is rounded and there is a wdie collar between the foot and the leg. The reverse of the leg is flat and undecorated. The surface is worn, as is the break. It has a dark green patina. Pot legs date to 1350-1850 AD.

Late Iron Age or Romano-British strap union, Taylor and Brailsford type 1. This object is constructed of a figure of eight flanked on either side by a vertical bar, attached at each end by a moulded oval collar. The figure of eight is semicircular in section having a flat rear side with a domed front, and the vertical bars are circular in section. The overall patina of the object is dark greyish-green. A cast copper alloy object, surviving in two pieces. The object could be a Roman bracelet, but it is more likely to be a medieval brooch. The object is formed from a twisted strip of copper alloy wire. There is a step in the strip - which could indicate that that is a pin construction and therefore the object is a brooch. The metal is a dark brownish-grey colour.

A cast copper alloy buckle plate, medieval in date. The plate is rectangular and flat. The object is formed from one plate, folded widthways to form the front and back plate. Both terminals of the plate are broken; therefore no pin recess or other attachment evidence survives. The plate has been decorated with incised decoration, but much of the original surface has been lost due to corrosion. There are three rivet holes in the plate. The metal is a dark greyish-green colour.

A cast copper alloy bell. The bell has been cast as one piece and it is conical shaped. The top of the bell has been decorated with two collars and there is an attachment loop at the apex of the bell. There is an incised line around the middle of the bell and a hole in the side. The base of the bell is badly damaged. This bell is post-medieval in date. The metal is a dark greenish-brown colour.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy single looped D-shaped buckle. All that survives is the outer edge of the frame, which has been decoratively moulded. The pin is missing. The reverse is moulded like the front. The metal has lost most of its original surface and the metal is a mid reddish-brown colour and is pitted. This type of buckle dates from circa 1250 – 1400. Parallels for this type of buckle can be seen in Whitehead, p21.

A cast lead token. The token is flat and circular. The obverse of the token depicts the number 9 and a capital letter L. The lead has gone a light brownish-grey colour. The reverse is blank. Due to a lack of excavated examples these tokens can only be loosely dated from between circa 1400 – 1850 AD.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy bell. The bell has a flared rim which runs around the base of the bell. It is decorated just above the rim with an incised line. The metal survives in a poor condition. It is pitted and is a mid brownish-green colour. Such bells date to the 18th - 19th century.
