In terms of composition the find is entirely consistent with the original hoard which (as far as can be reconstructed) also comprised 'British Q' and so-called 'Climping types'. The latter group derive their name from the site at Climping, as they appear to be unique to it. None have been recorded from any other location. An Iron Age gold stater, Early uninscribed 'Q' Gold -'Remi' type. Four Iron Age coins were found in association. The PAS database numbers for these coin are SUSS-5C8E56, SUSS-5C9B14, SUSS-5C9C85 and SUSS-5C9DD6. The four coins were reported as Treasure, under the Treasure Act 1996 and were given the Treasure case number 2004 T39. The coins have now been acquired by Chichester District Museum, West Sussex.
