A complete cast copper alloy mount, probably from a strap. The mount has an openwork design, formed from a trefoil at one terminal and extending into a pointed oval. There is a lozenge cut out and a heart-shaped cut out on the main element. There are three lobes on the opposite terminal. There are two short attachment spikes on the reverse, which would have held the mount in place. The metal is corroded and has a mid reddish-brown patina.

A cast copper alloy flat and rectangular coin weight of Antwerp. The obverse features the upright, right hand of Antwerp. The letters A I can be seen either side of it. It is within a ring border. A I is an unknown marking but believed to be 16th Century in date. The reverse features a coat of arms, within a ring border.

A worked flint flake of Neolithic date. The flake is oval in shape and D-shaped in section. The dorsal surface is flat and the worked edges are fairly shallow. The striking platform no longer remains but the bulb of percussion and ripples of percussion can still be seen. The flint is a mid greyish-brown colour with some lighter flaws. There are no signs of cortex re-growth.

A small fragment of cast copper alloy, possibly part of a chafing dish handle. Chafing dishes were domestic utensils made of metal or earthenware for holding burning charcoal or other combustible material. This was then used to cook food or keep it hot at the table (Lewis, 1973). Each vessel would have had two handles.
This fragment is formed from a strip of copper alloy, flattened on either side and filed. The strip is straight, with a dog-leg kink in it. The original surface has worn away in places. This object probably dates to the late medieval to post-medieval period, circa 14…

A complete cast copper alloy solid button dating to the post-medieval period. The button is complete but the integrally cast loop has broken. The button is circular and decorated with a central pellet and a series of heart shapes that radiate out from the centre. Around the edge there are some raised radiating lines and pellets. One of the hearts contains a small dot of what could be a white enamel. No other traces can be seen.
This button dates to between 1500-1750.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy polyhedral pin. The pinhead remains complete but the shaft is bent and broken. The entire length of the surviving pin is 16.6mm. The polyhedral head has thirteen faces in the form of a cube with the corners cur off and all faces are undecorated. The shaft has a circular section, but only a very small portion remains. Therefore it is impossible to say how long it originally was or whether is was straight or L-shaped. Half of a cast copper alloy double looped buckle frame. The frame is a pointed oval shape. There is no pin recess. The outer edge of the frame is decorated with a rosette, other moulded decoration can be seen elsewhere on the frame. The buckle is a dark reddish-brown colour and the surface is heavily corroded. The pin is missing. These buckles date from circa 1550-1650. Parallels for this type of buckle can be seen in Whitehead, 2003, p67.
