An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman Knee brooch dating from the 2nd century AD. The brooch is in a T-shape comprising the horizontal wings and a high arched bow. The head has a triangular section, with a raised horizontal ridge across the front. There is a worn stump on the top of the head, which would have represented the head loop. A fragment of a cast copper alloy Bow-and-fantail brooch of Roman date. The brooch is broken at the bow resulting in the loss of the head, hinge and pin. All that survives in the lower bow, fantail and the catchplate. The lower bow is wide and rounded and the break is very worn. It extends into the fantail which is triangular in shape, giving the object its 'fantail' title. The fantail is decorated with a moulded, raised semi-circle with inward folding, curling ends and topped by a lozenge shape. The decoration shows the influence of Iron Age designs. A cast copper alloy casket mount, probably dating from the 12th - 15th Century, most probably 13th - 14th Century. The mount is formed from a long bar of copper alloy which has been heavily gilded. The bar has a shallow sloping triangular section. There is a collar at one end of the bar, followed by a flat but off-set, elaborate trefoil terminal. The terminal is pierced for a rivet. A cast copper alloy strap mount. The mount is rectangular in shape with cut out trefoil terminals. The central rectangle contains some incised triangles in a rectangular shape. These markings help date the object to probably the late 14th Century. Five dome headed rivets remain in situ on the front surface. One sits in the centre, while the other two flank the trefoil terminals. On the reverse of the mount the remains of the leather to which this mount was once mounted, can clearly be seen. An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle has a D-shaped frame, with no interruptions. The section is flattened but with rounded edges. The buckle frame has been bent out of shape. No pin or other attachments survive. The buckle is undecorated. The metal is a mid reddish-brown colour and is worn.

An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle is one half of a double loop trapezoidal buckle, it is missing one whole frame. The outer edge of the loop is pointed and there are two lobed protrusions at either end of the strap bar. The pin no longer remains. The buckle is undecorated but traces of tinning survive on the surface. The metal is a dark silvery-grey colour and is worn. Buckles of this type date to circa 1600-1700. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead, p.82, no.512.

The upper surface is chamfered, while the reverse is flat. The lip is notched to recieve the pin. The wire pin remains intact, it is looped around the strap bar. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is slightly worn. Buckles of this type date to circa 1350-1450. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead, p.20, no.72.

An incomplete copper alloy hooked tag of post-medieval date. All that remains of the tag is the rectangular attachment loop and the wide openwork moulded design. There are raised floral knops, at the the junction where the loop meets the main plate. The main plate features a floral design, with a central pellet and a raised cross. The hook no longer remains, as it has broken off. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is worn.

A complete cast copper alloy, hooked clothing fastener. The hooked tag has an openwork main plate, with a double rectangular aperture and moulded outer edges. There is a small prong either side of the hook. The hook extends down from the centre of the main plate, it is complete and bend around on itself to form the hook. The clothing fastener is in good condition and is undamaged. The metal is a dark greenish-brown colour. These clothing fasteners come in various shapes and sizes.
