A cast copper alloy plate fragment probably from a strap fitting or buckle plate. The plate has broken widthways. The plate is an elongated triangle shape, missing its point, due to the break. The wider terminal of the plate contains two rivet holes and the front surface of the plate has been decorated with an incised linear border infilled with a floral design. The terminal with the rivet holes has rounded corners (one is slightly damaged). The reverse is flat and undecorated. This object is probably of post-medieval date, owing to the floral design. A cast copper-alloy strap fitting of post-medieval date.
The object is formed form a moulded plate of copper alloy with a rectangular strap loop. The moulding features a floral design. Opposite the rectangular strap loop, the other side of the object is damaged and broken, but a projecting strip of uncertain function survives. The reverse reflects the moulded surface on the front surface.
The metal is a dark greenish-brown and the metal is pitted.

A cast copper alloy hooked strap fitting. The object comprises a central, tear-dropped shaped element with domed section, formed from three facets, it has a hollow reverse. At one end there this is a small oval knop, joined to the plate via a collar, there is a smaller knop on the terminal proper. There is an iron rivet through the main knop. A cast copper alloy sword belt, strap fitting. The fitting consists of a plate which has been decoratively cut and features a leaf design. The veins of the leaf have been infilled with a black enamel or similar substance. The plate is broken, but retains two rivet holes, each corroded with the remains of an iron rivet. The attachment end of the fitting is formed from two parallel projecting strips, which are now broken. These would have formed a loop around the strap bar of a buckle.

A cast copper alloy strap fitting with a hooked plate, probably for use as a dress fastener. The plate is ornately moulded and features a central lozenge, with two holes above. At the apex of the fitting there is a pierced extension. Below the openwork lozenge there is a rivet hole, containing a rivet and then the hook extends down from there. There appears to be some tinning applied to the surface. The reverse is undecorated. The metal surface is slightly worn and mid greenish-grey in colour.

An incomplete copper alloy hooked tag of post-medieval date. The main body of the tag is a shell design with incised lines marking the curves of the shell. From the straight edge of the shell - an oval attachment loop projects. From the opposite edge a double collar projects from which the hook would extend. The hook no longer remains with worn breaks. The reverse is flat and undecorated.
The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is worn. The hooked tag is 27.9mm long, 14.8mm wide, 2.2mm thick and weighs 2.2g.

A cast copper alloy strap fitting. The fitting comprises two elements. One object comprises a circular loop, cast integrally to two long rectangular sectioned arms, with square ends. The arms each have two drilled holes in them. These holes contain copper alloy rivets. The rivet heads can clearly be seen on the outer surfaces of the arms. The rivets would have held a strap in place.

A large cast copper alloy pin or similar strap fitting. The pin is formed from one piece of copper alloy. The pin shaft is D-shaped in section. It tapers to the blunt point. It has slightly chamfered sides and a flat base. The opposite terminal proper has a concave underside, where it may have rested onto the frame. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour.

A cast copper alloy hooked strap fitting. The object comprises a central, roughly circular, domed section, which is hollow on the reverse. At one end there this is a trefoil extension. On the opposite end there are two collars followed by a hook. The hook sits at a right-angle to the main body of the fitting and forms almost a complete circle. On the reverse of the collar, above the hook can be seen the remains of an attachment rivet. The metal is a pitted mid reddish-brown.

A cast/wrought copper alloy chain swivel loop. The object consists of a D-shaped loop, with rounded corners. The loop has a circular cross-section. On the centre of the straight edge of the D-shaped there is a rounded loop cast integrally to the larger loop. This loop would have held an iron rod (iron rust is still evident) on which this object would have swivelled. The swivel loop is undecorated. The object has a flat plate, which has a circular shape and a pointed projection. There is a collar around the base and a hollow shaft extends out from this, the shaft is broken. It is worn, with a badly damaged surface with a dark reddish-brown patina.

A cast copper alloy strap mount, with traces of gilding surviving on the surface.
The mount is largely rectangular in form. One terminal has a rounded end, with a narrow projection. The terminal is pierced. Three raised squares then decorate the upper surface, these have themselves then been decorated with cross-hatched incised lines. The third square plate is also pierced. Next to this a D-shaped strip projects out and it terminates with an oval loop.
The reverse is concave, the metal is a mid brownish-green colour and the surface is pitted.

A cast copper-alloy swivel fitting, this would have formed part of a strap fitting. The swivel comprises two loops and the swivel mechanism, formed from a shank with a rove at one end. The loops are different sizes, the smallest loop also forms the rove and has therefore been cast integrally with the shank. The second loop is more D-shaped, with a hole through the straight edge for the shank to fit in. The second loop is also decorated with incised grooves. The rove sit inside this loop.
