A cast lead bag seal, formed from a flat sheet of lead. The sheet is roughly square, but a corner is missing, due to damage. The front surface is decorated centrally with the letters TRM, which are all conjoined. They are surrounded by a ropework circle. An image of the reverse is not available, so it is not clear how this is decorated.

A complete lead cloth seal, formed from two circular discs, joined together with a connecting strip. The complete disc (Disc 1) is stamped with a pine-cone (emblem of Augsburg) with an anvil-shaped projection below; the pine-cone is decorated with raised pellets. There is a six-pointed star in the right field. L ? E can been seen to the top left of the disc. The perforated disc (Disc 2) is stamped with a bishop's crozier. Compare SF-261786 and NMS-848772. Perhaps 16th or 17th century.

TREASURE CASE: 2010 T513. A complete gilded silver globular button of post-medieval date. It is formed from two hemispheres joined to form a hollow spherical ball with a projecting circular loop. Both halves are decorated with an openwork design and multiple pellets arranged in concentric circles radiating from a central point. A double banded filigree "rope-work" collar is present where the two hemispheres join. A further two bands of filigree are present on each hemisphere from which some of the pellets project. A cast copper alloy buckle, it has a trapezodial shaped frame and was probably used as a shoe or knee buckle. The frame is decorated and features some moulded designs. The central part of the frame features three collars on either side, with floral motifs either side. The outer edges are rounded and feature pin recesses, decorated with a leave design. The frame is drilled for a separate spindle. The pin, chape and tongue are all missing. This type of buckle dates to 1650-1750. Whitehead, p98.

A cast copper alloy button of medieval to post-medieval date. The head of the button is spherical with a biconcial form. Extending out from the base of the button is the integral shank. The shank is an oval loop with a circular hole at its centre. The metal is a light reddish-brown colour, some traces of tinning remain.

A complete cast copper-alloy cup weight of post-medieval date. The weight is circular and flat with a square raised rim. An incised circular border runs around the interior of the raised rim. The reverse is flat with a central depression. The front of the weight is decorated with a pair of concentric double rings and a central incised ring. These have been over stamped with a cross and a fleur de lys. The metal has a dark brownish-green patina and is worn.

A cast lead alloy stud (pewter). The front face of the stud is off-square with a raised relief design on the front. There is a central circle decorated with an incised cross-hatched design. Around this there the raised motif of a Tudor rose. It has been designed to fit inside a square. The reverse of the stud is flat and features two attachment spikes, one of which has broken. The metal is a mid silvery-grey colour. This stud dates to the 16th - 17th Century.

A complete cast copper alloy object, probably the front plate from a chape. The object is formed from a flat plate of copper alloy, shaped with straight sides, a pointed base and two scallop cut out on the top, forming three points. There are two attachment scars on the reverse, along the straight edges. The metal is corroded and is a mid greyish-green colour.

An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle is and asymmetrical double loop with moulded decoration on the loops. The outside edge of the rectangular loop has six lobed knops of decoration. The outer edge of the rounded loop has lobed knops at two symmetrical points. Two further lobed protrusions extend from either end of the strap bar. The pin is missing. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is worn. Buckles of this type date to 1575-1700. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead, p.92, no.577.
