A crude neolithic tool, possibly a crude scraper, adze or axe. It is possible that this tool was used to extract marrow from bones, as it has not been re-touched by pressure flaking. The tool has had multiple flakes removed from the surface, forming medium arrises. The flint has a number of flaws within its structure and so may have been discarded for this reason.
