An incomplete cast copper alloy pin of possible early-medieval date. The pin consists of the head and part of the upper shaft. The head is biconical with a median band with no evidence of decoration. The lower half of the head tapers gently into the shaft. The shaft appears to be hexagonal in section and narrows slightly towards a worn break. The metal is a light brownish-green colour and is slightly pitted.

An almost complete, cast copper-alloy bell with a hexagonal-shaped body. At the terminal of each of facets there is a rounded lobe, now either damaged or rolled under. The bell is misses part of the base. There is an integral rectangular suspension loop at the apex, it is pierced. The metal is pitted and is a mid greenish-brown in colour. It is probably early-medieval in date, 10th - 11th century. A similarly shaped one was found in a late 10th century deposit from York (Mainman and Rogers; 2000; 2599). Similar to YORYM-7EA6F8 and YORYM-D84BF5 both found at Snape with Thorpe (North Yorkhire).

An incomplete small cast copper alloy single looped D-shaped buckle. The buckle has a narrowed and off-set strap bar, which has broken at either end and is now missing. The outer edge of the frame is wide and rounded. The frame is uninterrupted; so therefore has no pin recess. The pin is missing. The terminals of the D-shaped frame are rounded. The metal has lost most of its original surface and the metal is a light greyish-green colour and is heavily pitted. This type of buckle dates from the early-medieval period. It probably dates to the late 8th – 12th century.

A cast copper alloy small-long brooch, dating to the 5th or 6th century (c. 450-550 AD). The brooch has a flat head plate, with three semi-circular lobed extensions. These extensions are undecorated and although the brooch is badly corroded and some of the surface has been lost, what remains has a smooth, shiny patina. The brooch is broken at the beginnings of the arch of the bow, the break is worn. The break has resulted in the loss of the bow and foot. An early-medieval copper alloy buckle that is part of a set with a strap end. These fittings date to the 9th -10th century. The buckle frame is oval with a pair of perforated lugs projecting from the rear edge. The perforations are orientated at 90 degrees to the buckle frame. The frame between the lugs narrows slightly to secure the pin, which is no longer present. A fragment of a cast copper alloy strap end or buckle-type fitting. Only the terminal of the object survives and the breaks are irregular. This has therefore resulted in the loss of most of the object. The terminal is raised and finishes with a zoomorphic head. The head features the ears, eyes, nose and mouth of a creature. Extending out from the back of the animals head are the remains of the rest of the object. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal is a mid reddish-brown colour; it is pitted and slightly corroded. This object probably dates from the late 8th - 11th century.

This example fits into Thomas' classification as a class B Type 5.Only the lower half of the strap end survives and the break is an irregular tear across the centre of the object. It is formed from a single plate of copper alloy, with a molten blob at one terminal.
