A cast copper-alloy axehead of the mid-late Bronze Age. The axe is experiencing active corrosion and has a mid greenish-brown, pitted patina. This axehead was found as a single, isolated find. This piece was probably made circa 1500-1150 BC. The artefact is sub-rectangular in plan, the width expanding slightly towards the end of the blade, but tapers towards the butt end. An early-mid Bronze Age flat axehead. The axe was found as a single find. The axe is cast in copper alloy; the original surface survives in a good condition and is only slightly pitted. The axe has a thin and rounded butt, measuring 20.8mm wide and the terminal measures only 2.3mm thick. The butt measures approximately 48.1mm in length, it is very flat in comparison to other examples. A fragment of a cast copper alloy spearhead probably dating from the later Middle Bronze Age, about 1400 – 1125 BC. The fragment comes from the tip end and all that survives is the tip proper. The spearhead seems to have been very long and thin judging by the angles of the two sides. The midrib is raised, forming a lozenge section and it is solid. A cast copper-alloy 'moustache-like' object. This is a three-dimensional casting consisting of two, drop-shaped parts on either side of a central constriction. The constricted area is rectangular and hollow. The drop-shaped parts have elongated narrow tips with abrupt angular terminals, these may be incomplete but appear rounded so could be complete. The metal is pitted and a dark blackish-green colour, with a high sheen. An example in 'The Salisbury Hoard' (Stead 1998) suggests an Iron Age or earlier date. An almost complete Middle Bronze Age unlooped palstave, dating to circa 1400-1150 BC. The palstave is in a poor condition, but most of the elements survive, despite the high level of pitting and corrosion on the surface. The butt end is damaged, measuring 21.8mm in width. The septum is defined and the flanges on either side are still evident. The flange facets are not so clear. A fragment of a small copper-alloy flat axehead in an early Bronze Age style. The axe is possibly a chisel axe used for fine carpentry work, but is could also be votive. The axe has almost parallel edges, with a central spine on both faces, resulting in chamfered edges. The metal is mottled and heavily pitted, it is a mid brownish-green in colour. A Bronze Age ‘Y-shaped’ worked flint. It has been formed from a light grey flint, with creamy-white flaws within the flake matrix. The bulb of percussion and striking platform have both been removed. The upper end of the ventral surface has been heavily retouched, forming the characteristic ‘Y-shaped’ cutting edge. The retouch is steep.

The axe fragment survives in a poor condition and much of the well-finished original surface has been lost. The mouth of the socket is experiencing some active corrosion; bronze disease is affecting the metal and is producing a light green powder. There are also some areas of heavy wear on the faces of the axe. The axe has a large mouth-moulding, with a secondary smaller mouth-moulding below. The loop has been removed with the break.

28 sherds of handmade Bronze Age to Early Iron Age pottery, weighing in total 338g. The sherds are mainly body sherds, but one large rim sherd does survive. It has an inverted rim. The pottery is undecorated. It has chalk tempering, which has largely leached out, therefore resulting in the production of lots of holes in the matrix of the clay. The pottery is a coarse ware, which has been lightly fired in a clamp fire, rather than a kiln.
