A modern gilded chatelaine fitting or hook. The gilded copper alloy fitting has a long spatulate extension which would have been hooked over a belt and which has two rivet holes for attachment. The extension curves forward and expands into a decorative plate infilled with a rose, leaves and scrolls. On the external corners of this plate are two projecting loops from each of which hangs a gold ring and from each the terminal of a gold attachment, apparently comprising twisted gold wire. This is likely to be of later 19th century or early 20th century date.

A silver florin coin of George V, 1911-1919, which is in the process of being adapted to form a finger ring. The process by which the coin was converted into a ring is incomplete in this example, which was presumably abandoned part way through the process. Clearly the edges of the coin have been hammered inwards so that the object takes on an H-shaped section. The central part would presumably then have been drilled out. The inscription GEORGIVS V DG BRITT OMN REX FD IND IMP can still be read and the bust is still clearly visible.
