A cast copper alloy annular buckle of late Medieval to early Post-Medieval date c.1450-1550. The double-looped annular frame is of a design known as a rose buckle, being decorated in the form of a five petalled flower which varies between 31 and 32 mm in diameter and is 2 mm in thickness. Each petal has two lobes with incised decoration consisting of a border following the curved outer edge which frames several transverse lines radiating from it, but much of the upper surface is pitted and corroded so that the detail cannot be made out. Incomplete cast copper alloy zoomorphic 'gaping mouth beast' buckle dating from the late Early Medieval to the early Medieval period, c.1000-1150. A polished dark green doleritic axehead, sub-triangular in plan with a pointed butt end and a straight cutting edge, and lentoid in profile and ovate in section. The axehead measures 161 mm in length, 62 mm in width at the cutting edge, and 39 mm in thickness, and weighs 527.7 g. Cast copper alloy socketed sickle dating from the Early Iron Age, c.800-700 BC. The crescentic blade is 120 mm long, 35 mm wide and 2 mm thick and has a flat mid-rib on both faces defined by a pair of grooves that are 14 mm apart near the socket and taper to a point 12 mm in from the end of the blade. The outer edge of the sickle blade is thinner at 1 mm and sharper, though damaged, than the internal edge which is 1.5 mm thick, but the internal edge is usually considered to be the cutting edge on sickles so this would appear to be a double-bladed tool.
