A cast copper-alloy double loop annular buckle, dating from the Medieval to the early Post-medieval period, c.1350-1600. The buckle is circular in plan with a diameter of 23 mm, a thickness of 3 mm and weighing 4.2 g. The frame D-shaped in section with a vertical inside edge. The strap bar is 2.7 mm wide and very slightly recessed from the front edge of the frame. The folded, sheet copper-alloy pin remains in situ and there is some wear on the strap bar. A cast copper-alloy single- loop buckle frame with a broken integral plate spacer, dating from the Medieval period c.1350-1450. The overall length is 22 mm, the width is 20.5 mm and the thickness 2.5 mm and the weight 2.65 g. The frame is oval in plan and D-shaped in section, 3 mm in thickness, expanding to a raised angled knop where the pin would have rested. The plate spacer is 14 mm wide with a raised transverse bar that is 2 mm wide and contains the central circular pin hole that is 3 mm in diameter. Incomplete cast copper alloy zoomorphic foot from an Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch, dating from the later 5th to the 6th century AD. The foot is in the form of a horse's head with flared rounded nostrils creating a semi-circular terminal, incised with a pair of oblique grooves to define them from the nose, and stamped with ring and dot motifs to create the texture of a hairy snout. Above the nostrils, the nose is plain and narrows towards two projecting triangular eyes. Lead goldsmiths weight, square in plan and rectangular in profile, with a raised single fleur de lis with a transverse band at the centre on the obverse and what appears to be a cross-hatched pattern on the reverse, but the surface is too worn to make out the detail. It weighs 2.45 g which equates to a twelfth of a Troy ounce (30.5g) and would have been used by goldsmiths, who bought precious metal by weight, to check the weight of bullion.
