Silver threepence of Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Third and Fourth Issues (1561-1577) with the end of the legend REGINA overstamping the mintmark and the beginning of the legend ELIZABETH so that the mintmark is unclear and also worn on the reverse but may be a lion passant (1566-1567) and dated to what appears to be 1586 on the reverse which would be too late for a threepence and might be over the date of 1566.
