A silver Roman denarius of Galba (AD 68-69) dating from April, AD 68 to the end of the year, c.AD 68-69 (Reece period 3). Spanish mint (Tarraco?). Obverse: GALBA IMPERATOR (Emperor laureate facing right). Reverse: ROMA RENASC (Roma walking right, holding a small figure of Victory and transverse sceptre). Cf. RIC I (2nd ed.), p. 234, no.42.

ADLOCVT COH, S C, reverse type depicting the Emperor standing left with praetorian prefect on low platform on right, raising right hand in address to three soldiers standing right in single file, at least one of who carries a standard. Mint of Rome or Lyon.
