Everted rim with integrally cast trapezoidal dish support.
Everted rim with deep groove and integrally cast sub-triangular-sectioned dish support with two transverse grooves on upper face.

Late medieval or post medieval copper alloy attachment stud from handle, probably from chafing dish or furniture. Rectangular-sectioned, rounded end, with transverse circular hole, short circular projection in base. For examples with handles still attached see Margeson (1993, 80, fig.45, no.489 and 490). Length 23mm. Width 7mm. Thckness 14mm. 1400 - 1600. A7.
