Late Saxon copper alloy fragment of cast probable harness link, sub-rectangular sectioned bar with collared terminal and three worn transverse grooves, other end broken across offset internally worn loop, rectangular boss on stump of narrow rectangular side of loop, other side obliquely-angled and oval-sectioned. Measuring at least 37 x at least 13mm. A possible variant of a type illustrated in Williams 2007 fig. 3e. 11th century.
