Medieval copper alloy 'ball-in-socket' swivel. Two oval strap-loops with oval to D-shaped section, faceted in places, expanded and slightly flattened for an integral ball-headed rivet on one and socket on the other allowing the two elements to swivel. The socketed loop has patinated dark green / grey, the other pale green, suggesting a different composition. Total length 25mm. Width 16mm. 12th - 15th century.

Reverse of mouldings slightly hollowed. Iron staining on bar from (missing) pin. Measuring (reconstructed) 50 x 26.5mm. See Whitehead (2003, 65, no.401), circa 1550 - 1650.

Iron Age socketed terminal mount in the form of a bull's head. Circular-sectioned socket filled with orange-stained soil, perhaps from iron corrosion, with four evenly spaced rivet holes between two very fine engraved lines around the edge. One of the rivet holes is broken through and there is a ragged crack extending 11mm from the edge, possibly caused by internal corrosion forcing the socket apart.

Tongue-shaped, hollow-backed, with central trefoil projection at the upper edge and (from the base up) two circular, two rectangular and two circular apertures. Small rounded projection at the lower edge. Back-plate missing. Traces of white-metal coating or possibly solder around the edge. Length 49mm. Width 22mm.
