Very little original edge surviving, inner panel decorated with engraved lines and ring-and-dot with one ring-and-dot decorated lobe projecting from the edge. The plain side lobe is separated from the engraved inner panel by a curved line. Gilding survives in the engraved lines. Hines (1997) Group XVI or XVII. Circa 525 - 575. Oval loop, short rectangular-sectioned arm expanding before a break across a cental hole, with one surviving projection in the form of a stylised dragon head with projecting four pointed crest, a large annulet for the eye and an open mouth with projecting tongue.
