Post-medieval copper alloy dress fastener or toggle. Elongated domed plate with multiple transverse convex mouldings of varying widths, two rivet holes filled with iron corrosion, hollow on the reverse, with a circular terminal on a recessed neck which would have fitted into a corresponding recessed eye-plate. Similar to an example in Read (2009, 210, no.763), unclassified Type 7. Length 43mm. Maximum width of plate 10mm. Width of toggle-plate 10.5mm. Circa 16th - 17th century.

Rectangular 'eye' with raised cabled bar at each short end and loop projecting from the lower edge, cusped and noted plate with two rivet holes filled with iron corrosion and a central decorative circular aperture, terminating in a straight edge with a cabled rib. Medieval copper alloy harness pendant suspension mount. Triangular-sectioned bar, terminating at each end in concave cusped mouldings on either side before a circular boss with central rivet hole and pointed terminal projection. One pierced boss retains a dome-headed rivet. In the centre of the lower edge are two projections pierced for the (missing) iron axis bar, one of which is incomplete. Gilded. Width 45mm. Length 14mm. Circa 13th - 14th century.

Bar of shallow D-shaped section expanding very slightly from a break to a moulded animal head with pointed ears and slightly up-turned snout with a tapering D-sectioned projection extending from the mouth, probably intended to represent a long tongue, the tip of which is missing. Surviving length 48mm. Maximum width 7mm. Maximum thickness 5mm. The surface is corroded. No very close parallel has been found but Late Saxon bracelets with stylistically similar animal head terminals have been recorded including NMS-E90A2…

Late Bronze Age socketed axe head. Broken across the base of the socket, upper part missing, flaring from the break to a crescentic cutting edge. The surface is very worn, corroded and pitted with only patches of brown patina surviving. There appears to be a median longitudinal arris or rib on both faces, although the level of corrosion makes it difficult to be certain. Surviving width of cutting edge 48mm. Surviving length 50mm. Surviving thickness 16mm. Weight 99.4g.

Post-medieval copper alloy knife end stop in the form of an animal head, with remains of iron scale tang in slot. Blind-drilled holes pick out the animal's eyes, a transverse groove indicates the mouth and hair on the top of the head is represented by three engraved lines. On the back of the neck are a pair of engraved vertical grooves, with an angled line on each side of the neck. Length (excluding fragment of iron tang) 11mm. Width 8mm. Maximum thickness 14mm. Medieval copper alloy mirror case. Slightly convex disc, recessed on one side for the (missing) mirror, with a pair of pierced lugs with copper alloy rivet on the outer edge and a single unpierced lug opposite. Decorated on the outer face with interrupted rockerarm in a line between the lugs and in four c-shapes producing the outline of a cross. Late Bronze Age penannular ring fragment, or 'ring money'. Sub-oval-section, slightly flattened on the upper and lower face, with a copper alloy core and outer banded gold sheath. The banding appears lighter with an almost silvery colour on the outer face and a darker, slightly blackened appearance on the inner face. Broken at both ends with possible traces of having been cut or chopped. The exposed copper alloy surface is fairly corroded, suggesting ancient breaks. See NMS-5D0C86 for a similar complete example. Weight 5.7g. Width 8.5mm. Surviving diameter 17.5mm.
