Copper-alloy bar from an early Anglo-Saxon sleeve-clasp. In the centre are two pairs of transverse grooves with a pair of semi-circular indentations ('notches') in between, together forming a square panel. Above and below this there are rectangular panels with bevelled edges, running to square panels at the terminals. Each of these has traces of transverse lines obscured by a corroded iron rivet. A fragment of a Roman copper alloy Trumpet brooch. Both ends are missing. The oval-sectioned bow is very corroded has the damaged remains of an acanthus moulding at its centre.
