Medieval copper alloy buckle, with two oval loops (one bent) with straight outer edges which project at each side, integral bevelled plate between with much iron corrosion, perforation for iron pin (fragment survives) and two dome-headed iron rivets, 51 x 19mm. Cf. iron version of same in Dress Access. (1991) fig.70, no.491. Late 13th-14th century.
