Post-medieval copper alloy dress fastener or toggle. Elongated domed plate with multiple transverse convex mouldings of varying widths, two rivet holes filled with iron corrosion, hollow on the reverse, with a circular terminal on a recessed neck which would have fitted into a corresponding recessed eye-plate. Similar to an example in Read (2009, 210, no.763), unclassified Type 7. Length 43mm. Maximum width of plate 10mm. Width of toggle-plate 10.5mm. Circa 16th - 17th century.

Post-medieval copper alloy dress fastener eye plate. Rectangular 'eye' with raised cabled bar at each short end and loop projecting from the lower edge, cusped and noted plate with two rivet holes filled with iron corrosion and a central decorative circular aperture, terminating in a straight edge with a cabled rib. Length 45mm. Width including loop 22mm. For a similar example see Read (2008, 209, no.755? Circa 16th -17th century.

Medieval copper alloy harness pendant suspension mount. Triangular-sectioned bar, terminating at each end in concave cusped mouldings on either side before a circular boss with central rivet hole and pointed terminal projection. One pierced boss retains a dome-headed rivet. In the centre of the lower edge are two projections pierced for the (missing) iron axis bar, one of which is incomplete. Gilded. Width 45mm. Length 14mm. Circa 13th - 14th century.

Neolithic to Early Bronze Age fabricator made from a found hard hammer struck white and light grey patinated tertiary piece of debitage, this was reworked with steep retouch mostly to the dorsal face at a later date. These flake removals show the original unpatinated dark grey flint. Fabricators are thought to be part of a fire lighting kit; the flint being struck with a piece of Marcasite to produce sparks. 78 x 29 x 14 mm.

Early Bronze Age complete plano-convex knife of white and light grey patinated flint, made from a secondary hard hammer struck flake with a thick sandy coloured piece of cortex remaining unworked and presumably forming the "back" of the knife. The cutting edge is extensively and invasively pressure flaked at an angle with the flake scars reaching beyond the centre line of the dorsal face. Measuring 58 x 26 x 7 mm.

Lower Palaeolithic pointed ovate handaxe of Wymer's type E, unifacially and invasively knapped from a thermal or "potlid" fractured piece of white patinated flint, the dorsal (worked) face is patinated with a white "basket weave" with the original brown flint colour showing in-between, there is a small patch of worn and orange stained cortex where the flakes did not overlap towards the middle of this face. Description: Early Anglo-Saxon gold and garnet pendant, oval and slightly narrower at the apex than at the base. The sheet back-plate is rolled forward at the upper end to make a suspension loop with four longitudinal ribs. The setting comprises a dark red cabochon stone, presumably a garnet, with an off-centre angled polished face, set within a plain collar formed from a strip of gold sheet, the join clearly visible. Middle or Late Saxon silver strap-end of Thomas' (2003) Class B, Type 1. Broken across the base of a wedge-shaped rectangular-sectioned split end, below which the body is oval-sectioned, becoming circular-sectioned as it tapers to a blunt point. The body is decorated with three groups of three encircling transverse grooves, with a transverse groove on each face of the surviving split end.
