Undated but ancient octagonal-sectioned gold bar, very slightly expanded at the complete blunt end, irregular at the other end as if cut several times and then broken, the break partially granular and unworn. Surviving length 20mm. Maximum diameter at the complete end 7mm. Weight 8.9g. Perhaps Bronze Age. See NMS-CE16B3 for similar undated gold fragments which were found at a nearby site. Unidentified and undated fragment of silver, gilded object. Curved, concave on both wide faces, narrowing slightly from one end towards the other, the outer edge knurled (multiple closely spaced transverse ribs) between narrow raised borders at either edge, the inner edge slightly convex and plain. Broken at both ends, one break extending around to the inner edge slightly leaving the possibility that there was an internal projection. Thickness 3mm. Width 7 - 9.5mm. Weight 2.5g. Undated but ancient copper alloy ingot. Slightly irregular rectangular-sectioned bar with chamfered corners (forming an octagonal-section with alternate wide and very narrow faces), cut at one end, with a more recent granular break at the other. There are file marks over most of the surface and cut end, but no hammer marks. Surviving length 17.5mm, width 7 x 7mm. Weight 6.6g (102.2gn).
