This group of three later Iron Age copper alloy objects recovered from near King's Lynn, Norfolk comprises two enamelled flat-ring terrets and a miscellaneous flat ring terret. The terrets are of the same type, however, one is in relatively good condition, being nearly complete and the other is in three pieces with a part missing. The complete terret has a rectangular sectioned attachment bar that is flanked on either end with moulded collars each decorated with a median groove. Medieval oval buckle with offset narrowed bar, 17 x 21mm, pin missing, three incised lines on outside edge, traces of gilding. Similar to undecorated examples in Dress. Access. No.271 and 274. Egan and Pritchard suggest buckles of this type ceased to be gilded in the 13th century (1991, 42).

Medieval strap end. Shield shaped plate pierced at pointed end for (missing) rivet, scar in corrosion shows position of missing bar mount, iron corrosion in the centre of blunt end suggests iron rivet. Surface corroded. Similar examples in Dress. Access. 1991, fig. 103, although these have a notch on either side of the plate before the bar mount.

Medieval oval buckle frame with integral plate. Two rounded knops where frame joins plate, plate tapers to a small triangular knop on either side and then expands slightly to rounded end. Hole for missing pin, two rivet holes, traces of gilding, 46 (12 excluding plate) x 22mm. Plate 8mm wide at narrowest point.

Early post-medieval sub-rectangular corner mount from book (book fitting). Central circular repousse boss (worn through) surrounded by 13 stamps, some overlapping. Stamp consists of circle surrounded by a ring of trapezoidal cells. Three rivet holes, one edge of plate bent round to attach plate to book cover, other attachment edge missing. At maximum 31 (unbent) x 33mm. Surface corroded and worn. Similar in Margeson (EAA 58) 1993, fig 40, no 456.

Circular bow with central groove on one side, moulded step to oval sectioned stem. Stem thins and projects 8mm beyond bit. External diameter of bow 12mm, total length 53mm, bit 11 x 11mm. 13th – 14th century.
