Pilgrim badge. Poorly cast copper alloy depicting the Virgin and Child within the horns of a crescent. The Virgin is shown from the waist up, her head surrounded by a glory, her right hand is raised in blessing, her hair falls over her left shoulder and she is possibly holding a sceptre. An integral shank on the reverse has been bent over to form a loop. Measuring 25 x 23mm. Cf. Spencer, 1990, 74, fig. 46. 15th – early 16th century.

Gold posy ring. ‘D’ shaped band inscribed on the internal face 'A vertuous wife preserveth life'. The two ‘v’s are written as ‘u’s and the letters ‘f’ and ‘s’ are elongated. There is a possible makers mark in the form of a very worn stamped ‘H’ between the beginning and end of the inscription. External diameter 21mm, internal diameter 17.5mm, width of band 4.5mm. Early Anglo-Saxon gusset plate made from copper alloy. Elongated triangle, slightly concave long sides with an external loop on each, base slightly bi-concave with one corner missing, broken across pierced projection at opposite corner. The main body of the plate is decorated with a central triangular panel stamped with ring and dots around the edge, within a plain triangle and a beaded border. Cruciform brooch of Åberg / Leeds Group IVa. Headplate with undecorated panel, flaring wings and rather flat, simple, integrally cast knobs, each with rounded concavity on the reverse. There is some minor damage and loss, ancient and modern, to three of the corners. The bow, with shallow hollow on the reverse, is broad and tapers very slightly towards the foot. Alabaster figure of a knight, carved in the round, broken and incomplete, comprising eight joining fragments. The knight is missing most of one ear, one elbow, his hands and most of his legs. He has ring-and-dots for eyes, exaggeratedly large perforated ears, protruding lips and a beard around his cheeks and chin but no moustache. Early Saxon Silver gilt wrist-clasp hook-plate of Hines' form C3. The hook itself is missing. Its scar at the break, flush with the front edge, is rather smooth, and may have been deliberately filed flat. On the rear edge two T-shaped spigots served to attach the clasp to the garment. On the front chip-carved ornament consists of two symmetrically arranged Style I animals between scroll motifs near the sides. A small roundel lies just in front of both spigots. Blade tapers towards corroded cutting edge, broken at both ends, at least 5 (two complete) open-work triangles at top of body in line with concave back. Corrosion pattern on top of razor back suggest further projections, now missing. At least 32 x 39mm.
