A Silver strap-end of Thomas 2003 Class A Type 1. The attachment edge missing and it is broken across two rivet holes at the split end. The decoration on the front face was once inlaid with niello of which none survives. At the upper end a fan-shaped field contains a palmette motif. On the main part, between billeted sides, a central lozenge containing a cross and with a D-shaped field at each corner, is surrounded by four fields each containing a Trewhiddle style animal. A fragment of a silver halfcrown of Charles I. The obverse has been filed smooth and the border containing the reverse legend has been removed, leaving a round garnished shield containing the arms of Great Britain. The resulting disc has been pierced centrally for use as a mount of some sort. A fragment of a silver pin consisting of the upper end of a round-sectioned shank and the lower part of a discoidal or shield-shaped head. The front face of the head, the only gilt surface, is decorated within a frame with chip-carved interlace, the thicker strands of which are punched with tiny triangular impressions. Length at least 19.5mm. Width at least 15.5mm. Diameter of shank 1.8mm. Thickness of head 0.7mm. Weight 0.74g. Second half 8th century.

All the coins are a mixture of first and second century AD copper alloy denominations known as sestertii, dupondii and asses (1 sestertius = 2 dupondii and 1 dupondius = 2 asses).and are mostly worn in appearance. The first eleven coins were found in May 2010 and an addendum of six more in May 2013. These six, coming in after the original group had gone through the Treasure process, are marked with an asterisk in the catalogue. An incomplete and distorted silver thimble. The top is missing and the remaining sides have been cut or broken vertically and folded twice. Most of the external surface is covered with closely spaced lines of punched squares forming a waffle pattern with a plain border above and below. There is an engraved inscription around the base between two engraved lines ] VSE * VERtEV[ ('use virtue' or possibly 'use virtuously'). The rest of the border, and therefore any further letters in the inscription, are obscured by the folded metal. Height 22.7mm. Weight 3.9g.17th century.

Gold finger ring: 'D' sectioned band. Internal black letter inscription reading 'nul auter' (Norman French, 'none other'). Decorated externally with three long chevrons each with a beaded border and a central five petalled flower and foliate decoration within. The sections separating the chevrons each have a median arris with an engraved plant on either side showing roots, stem with leaf to either side and pointed flower head. Tiny traces of possible black or other dark coloured enamel.. 15th century. Internal diameter 17mm, external diameter 20mm, width of band 5.5mm, weight 4.45g.

Incomplete silver finger ring, additional to a fragment discovered 02/04/07 (Treasure case 2007 T219). Rectangular sectioned band broken at one end (where the upper part of the break joins the previous fragment), cut diagonally at the other. Inscribed externally: 'ias---' and 'melchiar'. Both fragments together comprise about 1/3rd of the band. The full inscription would have spelt the names of the three magi, Jasper, Balthazar and Melchior. Silver gilt composite dress-hook. Triangular plate with knop (in the form of three linear lobes decreasing in size) at each corner. The plate has three sub-rectangular projections or knops on each edge the central larger one decorated with two grooves, and a grooved border around a recessed centre. Fragment of worn and corroded copper alloy Class A (Thomas, 2003, 2) strap end. Split end with two large silver disc headed rivets, below which the object is broken. The decoration consists of traces of engraved lines around the rivets and a fragment of niello. The silver rivets comprise at least 10% of the surviving object. Late Saxon.
