Medieval copper alloy mount. Domed sheet in the form of a stylised human mask with hat, notched edges forming hair and a beard, and rivets through the prominent ears (one rivet missing). Two holes form eyes, with a larger hole for the mouth, and slightly raised nose. Height 20.5mm. Width 22mm. Probably 13th - 14th century.

Circular plate with two attachment holes at the upper edge, engraved with a single line border around the edge from which four evenly spaced engraved H-shapes extend, the inner arms splayed towards each other but not joined, to form the arms of a cross around a central irregular reverse S. Incomplete gold sheet object, comprising two joining fragments, probably an earring of Roman date. It is in the shape of a round-shouldered or 'kite-shaped' shield, bent (and probably folded and then unfolded), with three vertical creases and broken along two probable horizontal creases. There is a small perforated lug in the same plane at the apex. The pointed lower end of the shield is missing, and approximately just over half survives.
