Copper alloy seal box. Oval, pointed at both ends. Lid decorated with raised central ring and dot surrounded by eight smaller raised rings on a blue enamel field, remains of red enamel between central dot and ring, orange enamel fills one of the outer rings. Broken pierced lug above hinge, lug to locate lid at opposite end to hinge has indent at top and slight projection at bottom, corresponding lug in box base is pierced. Probably relating to the arms of Bury Abbey, Suffolk. Cf. pendants of similar form in Ashley (2002), fig.21, nos.197-8.

Four armed plate brooch. Central sub-lozengiform panel with eight opposed stamped triangles two of which contain traces of turquoise enamel, collared knop on one side, broken on other. Traces of tinning, two faint curved engraved lines on foot. Broken at head and foot. Pin, catchplate and pin lug missing. Measuring at least 26 x 25mm. Similar to an example in Hattatt (2000, fig 201, no. 1584). Mid – late 1st century AD.

Incomplete half of mirror case. Disc, originally with a pair of pierced lugs (one of which is now missing), lines of worn stamped decoration form a cross, traces of white material on inside may be remains of lead backing for glass. Very similar to more complete examples from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, fig. 241, no. 1715 and 1716). Diameter c. 31mm. 13th - 14th century.

Alabaster figure of a knight, carved in the round, broken and incomplete, comprising eight joining fragments. The knight is missing most of one ear, one elbow, his hands and most of his legs. He has ring-and-dots for eyes, exaggeratedly large perforated ears, protruding lips and a beard around his cheeks and chin but no moustache. He wears a conical helmet with nasal (nose-guard) and a long-sleeved mail hauberk under his surcoat.
