Post-medieval silver, gilded ball-headed pin. Hollow head, the probable join between the upper and lower haves concealed by a median wire rib, decorated above and below with five wire annulets around a central annulet, the upper of which contains a pellet, the lower the springing of the broken, circular-sectioned pin. The head is gilded, with no trace of additional missing pellets. Head height 10mm. Diameter 11mm. Diameter of shank 2.5mm. Weight 2.09g. Circa 16th century.

Very large, slightly convex-sided strap-end with three silver rivets at the split attachment end, a central rectangular panel decorated with silver sheet depicting complex interlaced beasts with at least six heads visible, with further silver sheet over the circular ears and over the forehead of the animal head terminal. Medieval copper alloy harness fitting or possible chape. Triangular lower half, semi-circular in section with a fully rounded discoidal terminal at the point. From the upper, straight edge a thinner slightly domed sectioned projects decorated with transverse lines connected by off-set longitudinal lines imitating a brickwork pattern, with a rounded end, and a large central hole for a (missing) rivet. Substantial traces of gilding survive over the whole front face and discoidal terminal. Length 48.5mm. Maximum surviving width 21mm. Maximum thickness 10mm.

Fragment of medieval silver finger ring. Bezel, in the form of an oval setting within an octagonal, faceted collet, flat on the reverse, with the stubs of the broken hoop on each long edge. Post-medieval silver finger ring, broken and flattened but complete. Shallow D-sectioned hoop expanding to form rosettes or a foliate motif in low relief either side of a rectangular bezel on which a heart bisected by two arrows is reserved on a stippled field. The decoration on the shoulders is very worn. Width of bezel 5.25mm. Weight 1.2g. Although no record of a similar finger ring has been found, a heart and arrows on a stippled ground is well paralleled on later 17th century cuff-links, although the heart is usually flaming. Middle or Late Anglo-Saxon silver hooked tag, Read (2008) Class A, Type 2 / Lewis and Naylor (2013) A3.ciii. Octofoil plate with three attachment holes, one in each of the upper three foils, with a short, sharp hook springing from the lower foil. The surface is engraved and inlaid with niello to form a cruciform motif formed from four arches or C-shapes with two connecting transverse lines between each arm, leaving a central cruciform field or cell. Very similar to SF-1EFD68 and 2004T372 (Read, 2008, 17, nos.74 and 75).

Fragment of a Late Anglo-Saxon silver strap-end of Thomas' Class A, Type 1 with Trewhiddle-style decoration. Only the middle section survives, broken across the decorative field at both ends; the attachment end and terminal are both missing. The sides are convex and have a double-ribbed border; the outer rib is decorated with angled transverse grooves while the inner rib is plain. The sides are decorated with a zigzag reserved on a field of punched dots forming a waffle pattern, with a plain border above.
