Medieval copper alloy mount from harness or furniture. Slightly hollow backed, shallow D-sectioned bar, constricted with slight pointed projection to either side before expanding to form a rounded, pierced terminal with pointed projection at one end, expanding briefly before a ragged break at the other. Very worn and corroded. Surviving length 59mm. Width of bar 13.5mm. Width of terminal 17mm. 13th - 14th century. Length 48mm, width 20mm, thickness 11.5mm. Weight 45.2g / 1.59oz / 697gn. Circa 1500 - 1800. The patina suggests this weight may be later in the date range.

Medieval copper alloy thimble. Sheet metal with fold marks visible on the inner face and a single notch in the lower edge. Plain border around the edge, with a partial single line, the rest covered with closely spaced punched dots except for the apex of the rounded crown. Several of the punched dots have worn through. Diameter 16 - 18mm. Height 20mm. 14th - early 15th century.

Sub-rectangular plate with two transverse ribs before a rounded terminal at one end, concave scalloped edges, central circular aperture, single rivet hole filled with iron corrosion and transverse double rib before break at the other end. Medieval copper alloy strap clasp. Rectangular plate, folded widthways with single rivet at attachment edge. Sheet frame with separate inserted bar, rectangular folding end with c-sectioned mount secured by a single rivet. There is a line of rockerarm engraved on the folding end parallel with the mount. The frame is folded back over the plate and stuck with corrosion. Frame 13 x 15mm. Plate 11 x 18mm. 13th - 14th century.

Copper alloy ring, D-sectioned, gilded. The gilding survives almost undamaged on the inner face of the ring, the outer surface is more worn. External diameter 24mm. Internal diameter 17.5mm. Width 4.5mm. Probably a medieval harness or dress fitting. Possibly a post-medieval finger ring, although the thickness and patination would be unusual for an object of this date and type.

Sheet plate folded widthways, recessed for frame, slot for pin, broken across a single empty rivet hole. The plate is bent and corroded, and the edges are damaged. Frame 14 x 13mm. Medieval silver annular brooch. Circular-sectioned frame with four evenly spaced globular brambled bosses around the frame, one of which originally concealed the join in the frame, now slightly distorted and just visible. Cast pin with brambled boss next to loop, the tip recessed on the underside for the frame. Diameter 28.5mm (including bosses), 26.5 excluding bosses. Weight 3.46g. Other similar examples recorded on the PAS database include SF-56F631, BH-457F21 and NMS-8FCB95 (HER32619, Near Swaffham, Norfolk). 13th century.
